2015 - 17th National Remote Indigenous Media Festival

8PAW Radio will move it site to Lajamanu from 27th September till 2nd October for the 2015 - 17th National Remote Indigenous Media Festival. PAW Media and Communication is extremely proud to be hosting this festival in Lajamanu. Each year the National Remote Indigenous Media Festival brings together community broadcasters and media producers from across remote Australia. First Live Broadcast of Yuendumu Sports Weekend

PAW Media & Communications in partnership with Indigenous Community Television Limited (ICTV) live broadcast of Yuendumu Sports Weekend over the last four day has been a resounding success.Over the weekend audiences from around remote Australia were able to tune in to ICTV, Channel 601 on the VAST network, to watch Battle of the Bands on Saturday night, and live football on Sunday and Monday afternoons, with the Grand Final playing out on Tuesday afternoon. Community Benefit Grant for Community Video Screenings

PAW Media is thrilled to have received a grant of $4,932 from the Community Benefit Fund of the Northern Territory Government to purcahse a portable video cinema screen and projection system for community film-night events. The system will comprise a chain-drive video projection screen from Screen Technics, a new high-output Sony projector, an audio mixing desk and a Fender portable PA system with stands.
