Jaku Manu Patu radio documentary selected for Imaginenative 2012
27 September 2012
PAW's stockmen radio documentary has been accepted into Imaginenative, the prestigious Canadian film and media arts festival.
The imagineNATIVE Film + Media Arts Festival celebrates the latest works by Indigenous peoples in film, video, radio, and new media. Each autumn, imagineNATIVE presents a selection from around the globe. The Festival's programming, cultural and social events, and Industry Series attract and connect filmmakers, media artists, programmers, buyers, and industry professionals.
The works accepted reflect the diversity of the world's Indigenous nations and illustrate the vitality and excellence of our art and culture in contemporary media.
The selection of Jaku Manu Patu is a great outcome for the hard work of PAW radio broadcaster Dennis Charles of Yuelamu.
