Coniston documentary gets into gear

18 June 2011

We've been very busy lately with finalising the financing and funding of the Coniston Massacre documentary. Financial support has been finalised with Screen Australia, NT Film Office and ABC providing funds, as well as PAW Media itself providing finance.

A new production company (or in industry terms a Special Purpose Vehicle) called Coniston Productions has been set up jointly by PAW Media and Rebel Films.  Copyright of the film will be owned fully by our documentary company PAW Productions, which is fully owned by Warlpiri Media Association.

We are planning for preproduction to start on July 4, with production in August and September.
