The Animating Jukurrpa series has been announced as a finalist in the Best Indigenous Resource category of the 2011 ATOM Awards.

The Best Indigenous Resource category is for "A moving image production that has been specifically produced by members of the Australian and/or New Zealand Indigenous community as a resource for the purposes of educating the wider community or for the purposes of educating the Indigenous community. Judges will be assessing best teaching/training practice, methodology, suitability to the listed audience, accessibility and appropriateness of delivery and content.
