Sydney International Animation Festival

14 November 2010

David Slowo and Jason Japaljarri Woods have recently returned from the Sydney International Animation Festival. The PAW Media animation My Name is Danny was one of the animations shown on the opening night of the Festival.

David and Jason took part on a panel on indigenous animation, and were also interviewed by SBS for its Living Black program.

A highlight of the trip was a visit to the Dr D animation studios organised by one of the animation trainers, Ben Rayner, who helped  PAW Media step into animation. Thanks Ben!■■■
