PAW Media's new radio documentary wins Best Radio Documentary Award

"The coming of the cattle" has won the Best Radio Documentary Award at the 13th Remote Indigenous Media Festival. The Festival was held this year at Umuwa, South Australia from 3-7 October.
Jason Ramp, well-known Central Australia filmmaker, presented the award, commenting on the high quality of the documentary and the importance of capturing the stories of the old people who had worked on the cattle stations.
PAW Media is delighted that its young radio workers, Dennis Charles of Yuelamu community and Norbert Morris of Yuendumu community have, with the support of PAW Media's radio documentary training program, have produced such a rich, moving and important documentary.
